The Tulsa Children’s Museum of Art's mission is to educate people of all ages throughout Oklahoma, the United States, and the world through visual arts, curriculum guides, workshops, and symposium. We recognize the importance of and encourage cross-curricular student engagement, place-based learning, and art as cognitive and emotional development. The exhibition "Greenwood, Black Wall Street, and the 1921 Race Massacre: Through the Eyes of Children” addresses the lack of education about the historic Greenwood District, Black Wall Street, and the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.
